Don't you just love that header picture? Those lush summer colours, the feet dangling out the back of the canoe ... it's totally dreamy. Despite being fresh out of a fun filled Easter holidays our thoughts are inevitably all about the spring and summer to come. Biscuit is back behind the wheel and we are enjoying the idea of getting back to Wee Adventures as normal so we are delighted to launch our wee spring and summer adventures! Check them all out below, there's some old favourites, a new woodland venue in Crieff and an idea for an after school climbing club at Bennybeg throughout June. Did you spot that we went viral with a brilliant canoe sailing video we reposted from 2021? Over 5 million views over Facebook and Instagram (and counting)! We can't quite believe it! The best bit about it is that every single one of the comments is a positive reflection on the amazing experience the kids were having and should have or they were casting back to fond memories of similar adventures of their own. The power of the outdoors really can't be underestimated. We look forward to seeing you out there over the next few months! SUMMER ACTIVITY DAYS Where childhood is unplugged and outdoors. Adventures are around every corner and imaginations are let loose. Kids explore, climb, paddle, dangle, splash, cook, roll, learn and have lots of fun. There's no rush and plenty of time to soak up their surroundings. Friends are made, games are played and a good night's sleep is guaranteed! Please take time to check the Title of each Activity Day, most of our days are for 5-12 year olds but Climbing at Bennybeg is for 8-14 year olds and we have one canoeing day on 30 July for 11-16 year olds. We also have a new CRIEFF venue for some of our woodland activities this year so double check whether your activity is at Weem or Crieff before booking. And if you have friends who might find a Crieff location easier to get to please spread the word, thank you! FAMILY CANOEING There is a good reason why canoeing is our most popular activity for families ... from toddlers to grandparents everyone delights in enjoying an adventure together. No previous canoeing is necessary and the experience tailors itself to what individuals want from it: you can just paddle quietly in the canoe soaking up the great outdoors and family time; explore mud island; play in the water; jump off the cliffs and swim at the Linn of Tummel or explore the ruins, crannogs and islands of Loch Tay. Whatever you choose, it's sure to be full of smiles and memories that last long in the memory banks. We have a Family Canoeing afternoons scheduled in May, June and throughout the summer holidays. Come and play, we'd love to see you! SOCIAL CANOEING ON THURSDAYS
