Spring is in the air and with it a more positive outlook as we ease out of lockdown. We are absolutely delighted to be able to offer some outdoor adventures again with effect from 12 March 2021, in line with government and industry guidance.

Headline facts:

Level 4 Stay At Home from 12 March
  • Wee Adventures activities are classified as an 'Organised sports and activities'.
  • Organised non-contact sports and activities can take place in groups of up to 15 adults / 12-17 year olds, including coaches. Physical distancing of 2m must maintained at all times.
  • Under 12s are able to take part in contact and non-contact outdoor sports/activities in groups of up to 30, including coaches. No physical distancing required during activities.
  • Under 17s can travel just outside their council boundary to take part in club activities that they are a member of.
  • Parent/baby or toddler groups are able to meet outdoors in groups of up to 15 adults, including facilitators, with no cap on the number of under 5 year olds.
Level 4 Stay Local from 2 April
  • Contact sports resume for 12-17 year olds.
Modified Level 3 from 26 April
  • Fingers crossed for travel restrictions to be lifted across mainland Scotland and the chance to  see our long lost club members from across council borders!

What does this mean?
  • Activity Days for under 12s, Wee Adventures Club, Bike Club, outdoor Birthday Parties for under 12s, Wee Scamps, Confident Canoeing, organised outdoor non-contact sports for adults/12-17 year olds, outdoor learning for schools are all a GO, within these guidelines, from 12 March!
  • We continue to have risk assessments with mitigating factors  in place and always do our best to work within the letter and spirit of current guidance.

We firmly believe in the wide ranging benefits of outdoor adventures for all and look forward to seeing you for some more Wee Adventures soon!
