Covid-19 Update - Route Map Phase 2/3

After a cautious announcement for Phase 2 on 18 June we were pleased to hear more positive clarifications announced by the Scottish Government on 24 June. We continue to work closely with our National Governing Bodies and other providers to use best practice under the ever evolving current guidelines.
With effect from 19 June we are delighted to offer:

• Guided or coaching canoe sessions for all abilities
• Maximum group sizes of 8, including Biscuit
• TWO households per day (Biscuit counts as the third), either in one booking or two separate groups
• Canoeing on water within broadly 5 miles of YOU (Biscuit can travel to work so we can come to you) 
• We can use our equipment which will be suitably cleaned and rotated to give at least 72 hours between groups.
• Household groups will be physically distanced as per current guidelines (currently 2m).

We are looking forward to the government's announcement on 2 July to clarify whether the 2m distancing will be reduced,  whether the travel restrictions of 5 miles for leisure will be lifted or relaxed and what meeting with 'extended households outdoors' entails. We are also seeking clarification on what the details are around 'organised contact sports'. All these factors will have an impact on whether we can offer any scheduled Activity Days over the summer holidays. The trouble is, our diary is filling up fast with family bookings so there may not be many spaces left for Activity Days if we are able to run them! Stay tuned for news!

In the meantime, we are very pleased to confirm that our operational practices have been certified as "Good To Go" by the national tourism bodies!
